Our Approach to Fees
We offer low bono legal services. All legal representation will require a retainer deposit to get started.
Hourly Billing
Most of our clients will be on an hourly fee schedule. That schedule is based on the market rate for our services, as published in CLIO’s annual Legal Trends report and averaged across our practice areas. Filing fees are billed separately from hourly rates.
Detailed hourly fee structure
First 10 hours are billed at 25% market rate
Next 20 hours are billed at 50% market rate
All remaining hours are billed at 90% market rate
Fixed Fee
Where possible, we try to bill in flat rates. Some projects need predictability. Fixed fees will be based on an estimate of the hours to complete the project.
