Dunyak

Erika Dunyak, J.D., LL.M, is a transactional attorney with a particular love of cooperatives and democratic ownership. She has worked in federal food system policy, for a boutique private practice transactional firm, and for a food system center at a law school.

The law firm Erika worked with, Jason Wiener | p.c., a public benefit corporation, is one of the premiere transactional cooperative law firms in the county. Erika developed invaluable substantive skills in designing and advising cooperatives across the country in this formative role.

In the legal academy setting, Erika had a fellowship with the Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic, was a staff attorney with the Vermont Law School Center for Agricultural and Food Systems, and directed the Business Law Clinic at Roger Williams University School of Law.

In addition to providing legal advice to food business and social enterprises, Erika works directly in them. She also is a bartender at Zusammen in Cambridge and supports Momma’s grocery, both of which are owned by her partner Danielle Pattavina.

Erika lives in Cambridge, MA.
